Acquired in 2009, Performance Improvements Ltd (PI) was formed in March 1997 and has become a leading independent engineering consultancy providing expertise to maximise uptime and efficiency of oil and gas and power installations. PI’s expertise enables clients to maximise the capacity, up-time and efficiency of oil and gas assets from concept to operations whilst improving their economic, safety and environmental performance. This process capability is supported by a range of patented software systems which are geared to enhance asset value for clients, both large and small.
PI are leaders in energy assessments having developed energy reduction protocols and carried out assessments at sites all over the world. Products developed include the web based Energy Tracker monitoring tool and Emissions Forecaster.
As Duty Holder, Amec Foster Wheeler operates and maintains the infrastructure, both offshore and on and works with the client to develop the type of organisation and support required to meet their business needs. We also programme manage and plan all activities associated with operating, maintaining, managing integrity and development projects and upgrades associated with the assets. Onshore our support, in addition to O&M, includes integrity & engineering, programme planning, supply chain management, logistics and commercial.
