Amec Foster Wheeler’s experience and capability in nuclear new build is world class. We have played a key role in the design and build of every civil nuclear power station in the UK, supporting new build vendors EDF, Hitachi-GE, and Toshiba/Westinghouse.

We were involved in 18 out of 20 US new nuclear licence applications and we have experience as an owner’s engineer in Poland and Canada. We understand the challenge facing the industry and we are committed to supporting developers, vendors and operators.

Our expertise and knowledge spans the entire nuclear lifecycle. So we understand the inherent issues, complexities and pressures of a new nuclear development programme, from asset creation through to operation, life extension, waste management and decommissioning.

Our depth of experience in global regulatory and licensing support, site preparation and programme management, engineering and safety services is coupled with flexibility in delivery. We are an independent partner to vendors, developers, operators and regulators and we support conventional plant and nuclear island and have the broadest range of experience on reactor technologies.
