Amec Foster Wheeler has a leading capability and global experience in the design and development of Gas-to-liquids or GTL plants at commercial-scale. 

GTL plants based on Fischer-Tropsch synthesis technology are amongst the most complex process plants developed for monetization of natural gas. We are independent of the licensed technologies and our particular expertise is in the design, integration and layout of the various process and utility units.

 

We also have significant experience in other types of Fischer-Tropsch plants for monetization of other hydrocarbon sources including coal-to-liquids (CTL) plants and also biomass-to-liquids plants using organic material such as wood chippings for feedstock.
