We run three kinds of internships. The first - Spring Week - is an annual programme. The other two - Summer Internships and Industrial Placements - are less predictable. Availability depends on the needs of our business, and opportunities tend to arise ad hoc. As such, it’s worth checking our website regularly, so you won’t miss out if anything new comes up.
- Runs for five days in March or April
- Designed for students in the first year of a three-year degree, or in the second year of a four-year degree.
During the week, you’ll get to know our business and some of our people. You’ll experience aspects of some of our projects, and there’ll be soft skills training too, along with a business case study at the end. If you make the right impression, we could well offer you a place on a longer internship.
- Lasts up to 10 weeks, depending on business area
- Experience real work as part of a specialist team.
Your time here would start with a short induction, after which you’ll join a team working on a real project. This won’t limit your experience though, because you’ll be able to shadow in other areas if you like. You’ll have the support of a buddy, and we’ll give you regular reviews to make sure you’re getting the most out of the internship. Prove yourself, and you could be offered a place on our graduate programme.
- 12-month internships
- For students in the third year of a four year sandwich course, or those taking a year out.
As you’ll be here for a whole year, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impression. It’ll start with a full induction to our business and the team you’ll be joining. Then it’s straight into a live project, where you’ll be given plenty of responsibility. You’ll get plenty of support too - from your colleagues, a dedicated buddy, and regular reviews with your manager. Shine, and a place on our graduate programme could be offered to you.
